OBERLE OPTICIANS
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 01, 2026 | Last Updated: August 26, 2026
Oberle Opticians (“Oberle Opticians,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of visitors to our website located at oberle-opticians.optifyweb.com and any associated brand or product pages (collectively, the “Site”), as well as visitors to our showroom at 9552 Harding Ave, Surfside, FL 33154. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Site, contacting us, or signing up for our communications, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Site.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy covers personal information collected through:
● The Site, including the main domain and any brand/product pages served from the associated Optify subdomain;
● Newsletter and marketing sign-up forms;
● The “Contact Us” form and any appointment-request or concierge-request forms;
● Phone, email, or in-person communications initiated through the Site.
This Policy does not cover information collected in-store as part of an eye examination, prescription record, or point-of-sale transaction. That information is maintained in our practice management / electronic health record system (EyeCloudPro) and is subject to separate patient privacy and, where applicable, HIPAA safeguards administered by our practice. Ask a team member for details on how your in-store patient records are handled.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
● Contact details you submit through the “Contact Us” or concierge/appointment forms, such as name, email address, and phone number;
● The content of any message, inquiry, or appointment request you submit;
● Your email address when you sign up to “receive news and exclusive promotions” through our newsletter form;
● Information you provide if you call or email the store directly, or communicate with us via social media.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
● Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and referring page;
● Site usage data such as pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site, including which brand and product pages you browse;
● Cookies and similar tracking technologies used by our website platform, Optify, and any embedded third-party content (see Section 5).
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect Through the Site
The Site functions as a digital catalog, not a checkout or transaction platform. We do not process payment card information through the Site, and the Site does not request or store eyewear prescriptions, medical history, or insurance information. Any such information is collected separately, in-store or through EyeCloudPro, in connection with a scheduled appointment or purchase.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
● Respond to inquiries, appointment requests, and concierge requests submitted through the Site;
● Send newsletters, promotional offers, and updates about new collections to subscribers who opt in;
● Operate, maintain, and improve the Site, including its navigation, content, and product presentation;
● Understand which brands, frames, and pages generate customer interest, including through “Popular” and “Newly Added” curation features;
● Maintain the security and integrity of the Site and prevent fraud or misuse;
● Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
